Pulsar isn't code-signed yet, so your system may ask you to confirm the first time you open it. On Windows, choose More info, then Run anyway. On macOS, go to System Settings, then Privacy & Security, and choose Open Anyway.

Installing on Windows
  1. Download and open Pulsar-win-Setup.exe.
  2. If you see Windows protected your PC, choose More info, then Run anyway.
  3. Pulsar installs and opens. It installs just for you, so you don't need administrator rights.
Installing on macOS
  1. Download and open Pulsar-osx-Setup.pkg. macOS stops it with Apple could not verify…. Click Done.
  2. Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security. Scroll down and click Open Anyway next to the message about Pulsar.
  3. Enter your password, then follow the installer.
Installing on Linux
  1. Download Pulsar.AppImage and move it to a folder of your own, like ~/Applications. It can't update itself from a system folder such as /opt.
  2. Let it run as a program: in your file manager, open its Properties and allow it to run. Or in a terminal: chmod +x ~/Applications/Pulsar.AppImage
  3. Double-click it to start Pulsar.

After that, Pulsar keeps itself up to date.
